Welcome to Cluj-Napoca, to the 6th edition of the International Conference Progress in Uro-Oncology.
Last year urologists, oncologists and pathologists coming from eight European countries achieved a monothematic approach: bladder cancer. This year the theme of our conference will be kidney cancer. We celebrate 20 years of laparoscopic urology in Romania by broadcasting from the operating room laparoscopic 2D, 3D and robotic procedures like partial nephrectomy and radical nephrectomy with retroperitoneal lymph node dissection.
We also intend to approach oncology procedures that are found at the interface of several specialties: surgery, radiotherapy, interventional imaging. In parallel, we will be close to the medical students who will organize the third edition of the conference of Students’ Association of Robotic Urologic Surgery.
